Eltham North Jets Basketball Club is a family-oriented organisation competing in the Diamond Valley Basketball Association (DVBA).
We organise training and competition games for over 30 junior teams which compete in two seasons all year round. The Autumn season and Spring season follow the school terms. The Autumn season starts at the beginning of the school year and finals are held just before the end of term two. The Spring season begins from the start of term three, with the finals being conducted near the end of the school year. The club caters for both girls and boys aged between 6 and 18 years old, at any skill level, in a positive structured team environment.
The club’s main objective is to offer basketball training and games, in a fun and safe environment, that fosters an enjoyment of the game, whilst developing a sense of team spirit, positive self-esteem and good sports behaviour.
Our club focusses on :
- Teaching the skills and fundamentals of basketball
- Developing confidence in players
- Developing teamwork and cooperation
- Instilling positive attitudes and respect for teammates, opponents, officials and coaches
